In the next days the IOF commission will proceed with technical, logistics, organizational and institutional checking for WMOC 2022.  The IOF delegation, guided by David May, the Swiss Tulla Spinelli and the Finnish Jane Salmi will follow an intense program which in only 4 days condensate all technical, organizational, logistics and institutional aspect of the upcoming World Masters Orienteering Championships 2022.  14 the municipalities supporting the event: Vieste, Peschici, Vico del Gargano, Montesant’Angelo, San Marco in Lamis, San Giovanni Rotondo, Carpino, Apricena, Rodi Garganico, Cagnano Varano, Sannicandro Garganico, Mattinata, Lesina and Ischitella.

13 comuni del Gargano fanno squadra per i mondiali master di corsa orientamento Sindaci ed amministratori di ben 13 i comuni del Gargano si sono ritrovati in municipio a Vieste per confermare la propria adesione al progetto dei Mondiali Master di corsa orientamento che si disputerà in Gargano-Puglia ai primi di Lugliodell’anno prossimo. Vieste, Peschici, Vico del Gargano, Montesant’Angelo, San Marco in Lamis, San Giovanni Rotondo, Carpino, Apricena, Rodi Garganico, Cagnano Varano, Sannicandro Garganico e Mattinata. L’incontro ha visto gli  interventi del Sindaco di Vieste Giuseppe Nobiletti, dell’assessore allo Sport Dario Carlino, del Presidente nazionale FISO Sergio Anesi, del Presidente del comitato organizzatore WMOC 2022 Michele Barbone e del direttore organizzativo dei mondiali Gabriele Viale.
