There are just over 80 days before the start of the World Masters Orienteering Championships and the expectation is growing for the event that will bring over 3 thousand orienteers from all over the world to the Gargano from the 8th to the 16th of July.
Not only competitions will be scheduled in the week but a program of events to live traditions and folkloristic activities of Puglia. All the athletes will have a special Casa Puglia hospitality area to taste typical foods and wines and will receive a welcome bag with a series of local products. The WMOC and The Week After will allow exploring some of the most beautiful places in Southern Italy in naturalistic terms and fascinating historic centers, such as Monte Sant’Angelo and the Umbra Forest recognized as Unesco heritage.

FOR YOUR TRANSFERS
The transport company Ferrovie del Gargano will guarantee full coverage of bus trips during competitions days. Personalized and daily bus transfers are available upon booking from the main Italian airports, such as Bari, Naples, Rome, Milan, and Bologna to the Vieste bus terminal. By registering on eventor, athletes will be able to use a continuous shuttle service from the Vieste bus terminal to the competition venues.
FOR YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS
In Vieste, the Hotel I Melograni and the Residence Baia degli Aranci are ready to welcome you to make you enjoy your trip. Both solutions are located on the Lungomare Europa, 400 meters from the race center, near the Bus Terminal, and about 150 meters from the beach.
